EDMUND H. HECHT, President of EHco Services, Inc., of Corpus Christi, Texas, is an internationally recognized consultant in management, marketing, and technical service. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and his MBA in Management from Southern Methodist University. He is also a graduate of the General Electric Company Crotonville Management Institute Business Management Course.

Prior to the start of his independent consulting activities in 1981, Mr. Hecht was a founder, President, and General Manager of Turbomachinery Repair, Inc., of Corpus Christi, Texas, an independent mechanical repair service center, and had a twenty-three year career in management with the General Electric Company. During his career with General Electric he served as a staff consultant in management, strategic planning, organizational planning, business planning and acquisition, manufacturing engineering, marketing research, and advertising and sales promotion in the apparatus service and engineering service divisions of the company. He was manager of the Baltimore Apparatus Service Operations, Houston Apparatus Service Operations, the largest apparatus service facility in the domestic division, and Southwest Region Apparatus Service Operations.

As a course leader and lecturer for the American Management Association and at various General Electric Company management training schools, he has presented programs on managing technical service operations, marketing technical services, organizing for technical service, and measuring and appraising personnel, production, and the work effort. He has performed research studies for many companies and both the American Management Association and Research Institute of America.

As a Visiting Lecturer and Adjunct Instructor, Mr. Hecht has taught at the Schools of Business of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Embry-Riddle University-NAS Corpus Christi, Del Mar College-Corpus Christi, and the Graduate School of Business, University of Jordan-Amman, Jordan.

Mr. Hecht is a registered professional engineer (P.E.), a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), has been certified as a labor arbitrator (FMCS), securities arbitrator (NASD and NYSE), and mediator (NCDRC), is a member of Tau Beta Pi national honorary engineering society, and has been named an "Outstanding Engineer of South Texas" by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
